IFAS Land Grant Toolkit

Welcome to the IFAS tool kit for the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Morrill Act! In this kit, you will find tools and information to help you promote and celebrate the event that created the land-grant university system. This kit is a work in progress, so check back from time to time to see what’s new. To get you started, we’ve included instructions on how to attach the 150th land-grant celebration logo to your e-mail signature, talking points you may want to use when mentioning the Morrill Act and its impact in a presentation, PowerPoint templates, a flyer, a poster, historic photos with captions, and news and information sources from which you can pull text and ideas.

All documents are available in .pdf format via adobe acrobat. Download a free copy of adobe acrobat. To convert any .pdf files to MS Word from Adobe Acrobat, select "File > Save As > Microsoft Word."

  The exhibit “Water: Discovering and Sharing Solutions” was the University of Florida’s contribution to the Morrill Act Celebration in Washington, D.C. It’s now on display at the Florida Museum of Natural History through January 2nd.
